Looking to sell my 2000FCW kit. Full disclosure: the camera is in excellent condition, the shutter is accurate and with the metered PME51 head and Acute Matte D screen I was getting perfect exposures on slide film. The only reason I'm selling is because I miss having auto metering and I'd like to find a 203FE body.

I sold my 503CX kit to get this and I don't regret it. To me the benefit of a 1/2000th shutter and the F/FE series of lenses which are smaller, faster, and focus much closer, make these kits undervalued. For more info on the 2000FCW, check out =AT3HoOYQf9PrmnqwN8QKVRAZVlzUt3Fv58KF8BNyepjduVSCoLfD78q1r5QAevspwnbyK4gi9BG0_6ajOZnaODzInrEndoO8pXriWZnxP4uWIg9r-aoDdWlb1btXByZ5OCX1eDFwI6WoP_5GlX3FdsYgJB1DfdgTDcDIKmkO23ONNFCWhtAII3M_HNulVinIWMSPvp5QIX_4FEmzSkcY50GqjUzsGRKe']emulsive.org's excellent overview page and review.

Here's a rundown of what's included:

  • Hasselblad 2000FCW body. In excellent condition, with little wear. Shutter is accurate and works at all speeds. The shutters on these always develop wrinkles, but this one is in the best shape I've seen. In any case, the wrinkles in this shutter don't have any affect on the shutter operation. Includes body cap.

  • Zeiss 80mm f/2.8 F Planar. In very good condition. The F version of the lens is optically similar to the C/CF/CFE version, except that it is able to focus one foot closer (2 ft minimum distance, vs 3 ft with the C/CF/CFE). And yet the F version of the lens is both physically smaller and 100g lighter than any of the C versions. Amazing! The glass is clean and clear, with no haze, fungus, separation or scratches. Mechanically the lens is in excellent shape, with no excess oil, and the blades open and close snappily. The depth-of-field preview lever and focus ring all operate smoothly. Cosmetically the lens has a bit of paint wear on the barrel as you can see in the photos, but it has no effect on operation. Includes lens caps.

  • Hasselblad PME51 metered prism head. In excellent condition. Glass is clean and clear, with no haze, fungus, separation, or scratches. The light meter is accurate (tested on slide film), the dials all turn and operate normally, the metering button works normally, and the illuminated EV scale inside the prism lights nice and bright. The viewfinder is surprisingly bright and clear.

  • Waist-level finder. In excellent condition. Magnifying glass is clear and free of haze, fungus, or separation. Hood pops up and folds down smoothly.

  • Acute Matte D. Bright focusing screen. No major scratches or blemishes. Incredibly, surprisingly bright.

  • A12 version II back. In good condition, with light tight seals and matching inserts. Mechanically the back works great, but cosmetically there is a fair amount of wear along the chrome and latch. Doesn't effect anything in practice, but worth nothing that it's there. I've added a 3D-printed dark slide holder to the back as a necessity.

  • 3D-printed cold shoe flash/light meter adapter. I had this made and typically leave this on the flash mount on the left side of the body. It's a shoe adapter to allow you to use shoe-mounted accessories such as a light meter (which I used when shooting with the WLF) or flash. It's a snug fit, but it does go on and stays on, and it won't damage or wear the finish.

PRICE: $2,300 + PayPal fee + shipping from NYC. Continental US strongly preferred.
