strix33 Posted September 20, 2008 Share Posted September 20, 2008 I have a yashica fr-1 and I am just getting used to it but my question has to do with the 50mm normal lens. I have two of them one is a dsb and the other is a ml and neither one focuses to infinity. I can line up the split image out to 30 feet but when focussed on an object farther than that it doesnt seem to align correctly. The split image is split when I use the infinity setting on either lens. Is this normal? Any help is appreciated Brian Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
james_ollinger Posted September 20, 2008 Share Posted September 20, 2008 I'm not up on Yashica/Contax. Are they Yashinon lenses, or 3rd party makers? If they're 3rd party, chances are the mount just isn't quite right. Is it possible they use one of the interchangable mounts. like the T-mount system?
