Focusing Cloth

<p>I`m looking for a focusing cloth for my Linhof Technika. I would like one that can be closed at the bottom side, so that absolute no light comes inside. What can you recommend?</p>

<p>Wista has hook and loop as well as elastic of theirs to close it.</p>

danny, i used a black t-shirt for years, but since i tried a "real" lighttight focusing cloth i know what i was missing.</p>

<p>I have two of these cloths, one for my Toyo 4x5 and one for my Canham 8x10 field. Love them both because the elastic helps them stay on the camera if you need to step away and grab something. They are also very dark since the bottom is closed (but can be opened since it's just velcro). Recommend!</p>

<p>I have the 4x5 (for Linhof Master Technika) and 8x10 (for Phillips Compact II) cloths from the View Camera Store. They're not cheap, but they are great. They work as well as they look.</p>

<p>I also have the BTZS that I got for a 4x5 and also use it on my 6x9 works great and I like the silver color<br>

that is cooler than Black in hot weather.</p>

<p>I use a BTZS on an 8x10. It can get a bit hot inside, and moisture from your top-half can condense on the back of the camera if you stay in there for too long! Otherwise, it's a good hood that seals out the light nicely and doubles as a protective cover for the camera when it's in the backpack. </p>

<p>Just checked inventory. The Wista cloths no longer have Velcro or elastic.</p>
