  1. DSC SILVER at infinity

Apparently DSC silver image has more details
Clearly DSC lens has slightly wider angle, (due to slightly shorter focal length

Cleary the DSC silver image has a lot more detail, the hair and beard all show fine detail, such details
    are lost in DSC image.
    Conclusion:
    1) in low light situation, DSC is more prone to blurry image, due to one stop slower lens
    2) at 3 to 6 feet range, DSC silver is much superior to DSC, due to focusing lens.

  2. Perhaps you are right but it is hard to tell through jpegs unfortunately.

  3. And very different color rendering.

  4. Just tested the old flash (original DSC) with the new dsc silver and it works.

  5. Hi Martin,
Been following all your wonderful posts on the Minox DSC Silver, my question to you is:
Is the DSC Silver worth to buy? I am considering to get a camera that I can carry with me everywhere to take casual snaps.
I am fine with Scale focusing as I also own a Minox GTE that I still use on a regular basis.
    Thank,
    CK

Dsc silver is quite good camera, I carry it all the time in lieu of Minox B
