jautey
Lately it seems I've migrated into doing headshots for actors. My package includes either prints or .jpgs. In either case I have copyright release language included with the photos so the clients can reproduce them at will. However I was wondering if anyone has other examples of copyright release language that may be better than mine. Something that restricts the copyright release to the individual client and is clear enough for anyone at Kinkos to understand. Thankyou in advance for your help. jerry s
Without getting into specific details (which I find is too difficult at 5:30AM here, and without the benefit of a second cup of coffee), I believe you can accomplish your objective by adding a "non-assignment" clause into your agreement, whereby the license is granted to the individual client, but is not transferrable or assignable to other individuals, entities, companies or entities.
