philip_dygeus2
Hi everyone, From a collecting photography point of view, Aperture Foundation may be interesting in that it offers "limited edition photographs". But is this a good investment? I've for instance looked at the "Masters of Photography" gallery but it seems most of them are part of large series, 50-150, plus between 1 and 20 artist's proofs. I guess there's no reason to doubt provenance or quality of the print - I mean Aperture is a renowned institution and frequently prints are made by alleged master printers. Plus some prints are signed and stamped by the photographers. But how are prints from Aperture, from any of its galleries, seen among collectors? Have a nice day /Philip philipus.com •• Film is Photography
