jennifer_wallace
Hi, everyone! I was wondering what are some tips to bring out a child's personality during a photo shoot? Thanks!
maijaathena
Hi Jennifer, I'm pretty new to photography, but the photos I have taken so far are mostly of kids and pets. I've mentioned this before, but I think one of the most important things about taking pictures of kids is getting down to their level. Whether it be on your knees, sitting on the ground or lying down for babies. Once there, most small kids respond to silly talk and stuffed animals. For both kids and pets, it's SO helpful to have someone there right behind you or just to your side to get their attention. But when alone, just make sure to keep on talking and don't stop clicking. To get really great photos, the reaction shots are always the best. Hope that helps. And good luck! -Maija
