A while back, box cameras with single element lenses using roll film made up a sizable proportion of photos made. Then folders. Then Instamatics. I prefer to think of it as a good thing.

 

My first camera was a 127 Baby Brownie. My father never let me use his Kodak Duaflex, but last week I found it in a closet when he wasn't looking. Hah!!
