Can't read CR2 from Canon Rebel XS in Aperture or iPhoto

<p>I've bought a new Canon Rebel XS. I have an iMac with OS X 10.5.8, Aperture 2.4.1 and iPhoto '08 version 7.1.5 (378). When I download CR2 files from the XS the message reads "Unsupported File Format". Original jpegs download fine. I've not had this problem with my Canon G10 CR2 files. When I look up Aperture RAW Support it says I need Aperture 2.4.11, but I'm not able to find that update on Apple Support. (Apparently, 2.4.11 is different from 2.4.1?) Thanks, for any help.</p>

<p>If you check this page you'll see that there isn't a version 2.4.1 or 2.4.11 of Aperture. Do you have 2.1.4?</p>

<p>Thank you, Peter. I must have transposed the numbers. I ended up at the Apple Store with my computer, after it totally crashed. They fixed it, and now everything works.</p>
