  2. Thanks Marc for these posts, they bring a lot of memories. The Canon lens test should be interesting for those concerned with sharpness measures, and I enjoyed the piece on the Leitz school.

    The article on flashbulbs is priceless because of the history, That first sentence, so comic today, "For a while we thought the flashbulb was doomed" made a lot of sense at the time for amateurs, because of the weight and cost of electronic units.

  5. The Contarex Super had sort of escaped my notice until I read the article Marc supplied. Has anyone here had hands-on experience with one?
  6. Wow! A bumper edition. Thanks Marc. The article on the Fotoval enlarging meter brought back some bitter memories of the time spent trying to calibrate and generally mess around with such gadgets, usually to very little avail.
