Thanks Marc for these posts, they bring a lot of memories. The Canon lens test should be interesting for those concerned with sharpness measures, and I enjoyed the piece on the Leitz school.

The article on flashbulbs is priceless because of the history, That first sentence, so comic today, "For a while we thought the flashbulb was doomed" made a lot of sense at the time for amateurs, because of the weight and cost of electronic units.
