Hi together,
I would like to let you know about a new feature I just put online.

During my time in New York I started to work on a series of interviews

with photographers. So far I interviewed Simon Wheatley from Magnum,

Joachim Ladefoged from VII and Chris Anderson from Magnum. More to

come...

Yesterday I published the first interview with Simon Wheatley. I

divided the interview into 11 chapters and every chapter can be

downloaded as a MP3. The total length of the interview is 45 minutes

and 46 seconds.

http://www.newyorkphotoblog.com/blog/interview_simon_wheatley.html

I hope you'll be interested in the interview and please let me know if

you have any comments on this interview or improvement suggestions for

the following.

Thanks a lot,
a little long I think. What you asked and what he answered, fine, that's the framework you created, and his honest answers. But, he tends to hem and haw a bit...personally I would have editted his answers, without changing the thought behind them, to eliminate some of his stumbling and hesitations. 45 minutes of "ummmm", "well", "I'm not the person you should ask this", etc. is all very revealing of his humbleness, and the thought he puts behind his answers, but it only needs to be "published" once or twice for us to get the idea.........after that, just cut that stuff out in the editting room, and leave the guts of the answers. my guess is it would end up to be about a 30 minute interview and pretty fast paced, but not lose anything in the translation....IMHO

Thanks a lot for all your feedback. I appreciate that a lot and will try to transform your input into the next interviews I am going to publish.

Oh and thank's for pointing out the typo mistakes.

And Andy, I enjoyed meeting you in Woodstock as well. I do still think that your photography is outstanding! I am looking forward to see a book of your photographs one day! Keep it rollin.
