Account settings dysfunctions

In my settings,I have checked to have email alerts for comments on my photos and on others photos;this function has ceased to work for over three months now(Dec 2017) ;I have raised this in another thread a few times and Admin was to look into it but the problem seems to have fallen victim to other priorities.Another setting which fails to work for me is that of the opening page which I have selected to be Recent Activity but my opening page is always my uploaded photos.....unless this ''Recent Activity'' is something different from the one heading in the Portfolio section?.....Is anybody else having these issues?I would really appreciate your feedback on this,but really,I would like Admin to step up and fix this.Thank you-Laurent
