jamespjones
So,
I shot a roll of 120 through a 220 back. I shot enough that it doesn't seem to want to rewind using the winder (seems to be off spool). This is on a hasselblad.
Do I have to open it in a dark room and hand-rewind or am I in good shape as is?
david_barts2
Rewind 120 film (or 220 for that matter)? You can't. The film goes from one spool to another, in one direction only.

You remove the full take-up spool, lick the gummed tape, and seal the tightly-wound exposed roll shut. Then transfer the empty roll from the supply side to the take-up side; it's your new take-up roll.
david_barts2
Er, "transfer the empty spool from the supply side to the take-up side; it's your new take-up spool". It's getting late and I'm using the wrong words. Good night.
q.g._de_bakker
Just continue shooting.
But frame spacing will be wide, so stop and remove the film in the normal fashion after frame 11.

tanguero1
ok, i logged on with a related question:
can i run 120 film an A24 back, up to 12 exposures, then wind it out? from above it sounds like it would be possible, but what is this about wider spacing?? so i get only 11 frames?
cheers!
