It's an instant classic - as paradoxical as that statement is. Some say it has the feel of a Renaissance painting. I, however, see it as pure photojournalism, the kind you'd expect to be captured on Tri-X or HP5 though the lens of a rangefinder camera. But it's not equipment that captures drama, it's position. Right place, right time, good instincts, and some interesting detail, but not a magnificent photo. 2 There’s always something new under the sun.
