Aoresteen
If you do, Target has it on sale for $5.44 for a box of 4 rolls 24exp 35mm. Cheaper than Wal-Mart! Fresh as well!
rich815
Certainly cheap. But not a very consistent or good film, IMO. For something that does not matter so much, fine. But then what's the point. For more serious work, no. For my "cheap" film I get Kodak Gold 100 import film from B&H for $1.79 a roll. Good flesh tones, nice colors, decent grain, and CONSISTENT. Great stuff. john_shaeffer
I've used all of the different consumer films including HQ 200. I find myself either using Kodak Gold 100 film or 400/800 speed film from various manufacturers. Gold 100 is probably the most predicable consumer film, with true color and fine grain. If I need to bump up to a faster film, I go with 400 or 800 speed--200 doesn't help much and no consumer film, including Reala which is more expensive than Gold 100, is a better buy. I have been surprised with Agfa Vista 800. It has many of the characteristics of Gold 100, with three extra stops. It is just not that easy to find on the cheap!
