Fashion Layout

John, you really need to learn to read before you start hitting the keyboard, if nothing else, it might do your blood pressure good.

I've got nothing against what YOU'RE now describing as filth. I agree with Tom Lehrer: "Give me smut and nothing but...I'm a market they can't glut" I just get fed up with your insistence that this particular set of photos is anything to do with fashion photography.

I like to call a spade a spade, rather than pretending it's a "manually operated landscape restructuring tool". You seem to think that you can justify taking pictures of nearly naked girls by calling it a fashion shoot. If I were still doing that sort of thing, I'd call it a bunch of skin pics and would be quite happy if people drooled over them. Just calm down and get real, it's so much more relaxing.

leanne... your point is mine, precisely. What is fun and sexy to one group is somnabulent to another... t
p..s. if I saw that woman in "Tutti Frutti" acting that way in my bed, I would have a seriously positive response, if you know what I mean... and to tell the truth, John, if I found the girl in "Spread 2" in my bed, I'd probably start looking for the heroin to flush down the toilet before I called the cops. She looks seriously wasted... t

I'm still waiting for your suggestions on how I should shoot lingerie without showing skin. (This is about as tame as I can think of - or do you just want models in body stockings?)

And I've explained who our market is and why these shots and layout were designd the way they are. Part of their purpose is "fashion" sales. But I'd love to hear alternatives.

Right here: "Showing these models dressed as women might actually dress for the club (which probably needs no embellishment) but boldly revealing their own lingerie would be my approach. This way, the club is seen to have attractive adventuresome women that wear really nice lingerie"... t

I do like that idea and will use it in the future. However, it would be two orders of magnitude more difficult to shoot it in a nightclub. I'd not only need a cast of extras, but have to light them and the club as well.
