thomas_krantz3
Hello Guys Does anyone know where to get spare bulbs for the late Focomate 1C grey (the one with the large white baseboard)? I've been using mine for quite some years and I'm fearing the bulb will crash during a printing session...best to have a spare one ready! Anyone please?!? george_l._doolittle
Try Bulb Direct, 800-772-5267 or www.bulbdirect.com. I've had good luck getting uncommon bulbs from them. Good luck
jay_.
I seem to recall they take a readily-available 75W as are used in many enlragers.
kent_phelan
The Focomat 1c takes a standard PH-211 or PH-212 bulb. The only difference is wattage -- if I recall correctly the 211 is 150w and the 212 is 250w. Any manufacturer will do. The original OEM bulb is a 150w unit made by Osram. Any equivalent 150w enlarger bulb will suffice.
robert_marvin
Actually, they're 75 & 150 W. I use my Valloy II (which AFAIK has the same lamp housing as your Focomat) with a 75 W #211 bulb without any problems. I suppose you could also use a # 212, but the exposure times might be too short .
