Voltage of Batteries for C4 cube flash accessory

In the 'Batteries for C4 cube flash accessory'-thread, Martin mentioned that the C4 does not need precise voltage and that it would be OK with 3V. What is the real voltage now that the two V825PX had stacked up? I have found a (Varta) battery Type CR 2450 Lithium battery that is the exact same size as the 825. It's 3V a piece though (=6Volts stacked together). Will these work in the C4-flashcubeholder??

Uwe, the Varta 825 was a 1.5 v cell.

<p> 6 volts seems too high, twice the required voltage.

what happen when you plug a 110 v light bulb into 220 v socket.

<p> It is always a good bet to stay close to original voltage.

If you use a 6V instead of orginal 3V for the flash, then there will be excessive current passisng

the flash sync contact of your Minox camera, increase the risk of contact burn out or fuse up( even though you may get away with

with it).

<p> BC flash was DESIGNED to take 15V battery

<p> C4 flash was DESIGNED to take 3V battery

<p> Increase voltage from 3v to 6v makes a big difference in

POWER, the power is quadrupled.

<p> You may use any voltage any battery higher then the designed range,
