<p>SP: Funcational anarchy!</p>

<p>Everytime I venture out to Chikpet, Balepet areas (near Kalasipalya), I find the anarchy utterly dysfunctional but extremely photogenic.</p>

<p>My favourite photo store was in Chikpet, until they relocated to a more upmarket place.</p>

<p>Thanks <strong>Rod, </strong>very encouraging<strong>. Anirban, </strong>I find that most of India's Government/public organizations dysfunctional, as they seem to have little client orientation. The exceptions being the Postal system and the Railways. At the same time the disorganized markets and the general interactive public environment seem rather anarchistic but quite functional. People seem to get things done without any body's help by mere reciprocity among themselves. There may come a day in the not so distant future when governments may become irrelevant except for national defense, revenue raising and institutional financial regulations. My photographs seem to depict some of this, though inadvertently. sp.</p>

Apart from the usual brilliant ethnography picturing a city in transition towards the too common conemporary state of urban desert, the brief survey of praktica versions above deserve revival of this thread that i just discovered
