Bill Blackwell Images
Some good response last week with excellent selections of work; I really appreciate it. I took this week's group on my daily walk this past Tuesday morning (Portola Hills - Lake Forest, CA). Let's keep up the momentum! If you're lurking, let's see your stuff!!! Allen Herbert
Looking forward to seeing Arthur's photos of Australian folk in the outback, in their raw, and natural state. A natural honesty to the photos.

arthur_mcculloch2
We're in lockdown here. I know I've been intemperate. I live with it. And I take the critique. All I can say is that every photograph we take is a political statement. Our stepson's 'workshop' (I am in a late age re-marriage) has closed for the interim, so we have organised, thru our national disability scheme, carers for him each afternoon (to be quite honest, it sends shudders down my spine. Though he has global developmental delay, it's been a challenge of late). Here is today's carer, Sandra: And Shaun, my stepson. It has been problematic with him, these last few weeks. He cannot really handle changes to routine. He wakes a few times during the night, disturbed. And of course, wakes us. I thank God that there is largactil. And we've had our Anzac Day. A strange celebration this year with covid 19. While I think it's folly, I have always attended dawn services. A folly, a folly. And they were and are, and will be great heroes, never to be forgotten, always to be cherished, always remembered. So this year, no dawn service. Just people, usually alone, sometimes in pairs, and sometimes with children, bringing wreaths. So my Anzac photo. It is not of the main memorial here at Wingham (which I have photos of), but of a smaller place, which has a scion of the 'lone pine', which grows and flourishes: All with my monochrom, and 75mm go to lens. Regards, and keep safe. Don't drink chlorine, don't inject it. Just keep safe. Wash hands frequently, keep at least 2 meters away from others, isolate yourself as much as you can, and if you have any symptoms (sore throat, runny nose, cough, fever), see a doctor.
