B&W conversions via Nik w/ film simulations

Agfa APX Pro 100 or

Kodak Panatomix-X

I got to go down in one in 1967 and it is much bigger than you would think. Kind of spooky also.

Yes, I agree with Allen Herbert, strong photos. But disturbing. As said before, your mastery of tonal gradation, and perspective, is envied.

I've been lax this week, so some archival photos, two from my M6, FP4, go to 75mm lens, and a third with my M which does colour and a 35mm summaron of a rapeseed field in Tasmania.

This a young man, paraplegic, we met at the railway station on our recent trip to the metropolis. He was out on his 'trolley' rehearsing a forthcoming athletic event. Too much contrast, wished I'd used fill flash, but little time.

A dinner person we met, with flash

Finally, a rapeseed field (generally called canola here in Oz). Thought of cropping this one

Bill Bowes, I continue to be absolutely amazed at your shots, their clarity, tonal range, precision. You set a high benchmark for using catechol developers.

Regards, Arthur (apiarist1 - I 'spring cleaned' my bees last weekend - no swarm cells. I think that, though there has been good blossom lately, our continuing drought means that there is no nectar)

"I should add, Allen Herbert, that 'double entendre' is always 'risque', as is the placement of punctuation marks. Bravo. Well done. I suspect it would have been a hoot to know you in real life. Keep the photos coming. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1)" Arthur Crown.

Bless you, Arthur.

I juggle with those dots and tadpoles. They sort of fit in with my troubled sense of humour;)

Never sort of worked them out being dyslectic, but I try.
