stric1975
From the past winter, Cedar Lake (Minneaplis, MN) utterly frozen. It was a particularly cold period, ironically without much snow but with temperatures well below 0 Farenheit. Much to the delight of ice-skaters, the ice was thick, smooth, clean and flat like glass so these images may appear to be long exposure pics of lake surface. arthur_mcculloch2
Allen Herbert, is that you? So in the interest of self exposure, a 'self portrait' as I try to work out what the f is going on with my M6: Then some other shots, again with my M6, FP4, Ilfosol, scanned, etc. My foray into catechin developer didn't work - no latent images at all. Will give it one more try. Regards, Arthur (apiarist1)

I go by many names, and faces: call me legion;) That is not one of them. I liker your darker photos best. Those look somewhat washed out for my taste. arthur_mcculloch2
Thanks Bill, re-mixed last night. Will try again this weekend. Greg M, quite stunning. And Uhooru, really good shots. Am I seeing more b&w on this site. And Allen Herbert, I was probably referring to the 'f-stop' (though I can't be sure). 'call me λεγιων' - a good reference. You have a wry wit. Having just finished koine greek (got a HD, more out of the charity of the marker than any capacity I hold), I like to use it (it will pass into desuetude over time). Some say λεγιων was an allegory/metaphor of Roman occupation of Palestine in the first century CE. You know, legions, many, demonic possession of the land by foreigners, blah, blah. So I'll add another, again with a surrogate self image. I like the M6 - it is an intuitive camera (except when it f's up). I hope I haven't already posted this:

arthur_mcculloch2
Hello Arthur Usually your photos are too dark for my taste, but these are great. Don Don Harpold, thanks. My apologies in taking so long to respond. Darkness is a polyvalent term. Can mean many things. I hate binaries, but this is one. Dark as in just underexposed. But also dark as in Jack Horner's comment in Boogie Nights: 'there are dark things out there', or something like that. I go for the latter. And thank you. I will lighten my exposure and my view view of the world. Regards, and thanks, Arthur (apiarist1)
Sanford
Some photos will look fine on the grey Photoshop background but appear too dark against this bright white P/N background.
