ben_hutcherson
In my time on Pnet V2, I've reported my fair share of posts for various reasons. Sometimes it was a post that I saw against the forum rules, sometimes it was to request an edit on something I'd posted because the edit window had closed, or sometimes to report spam. All of those are routine things, both from Pnet V1 and on other fora. I've seemingly never seen any of these reports acted upon. As a clear-cut example(I know that what I see as a problem the mods/admin might not always), here's a spam post that was posted 2 days ago and I know at least that I hit report on it D700 hot pixels ? I'm a member of another Xenforo forum where anytime I report a post, I get an automated notification saying either "The moderators reviewed your report and took appropriate action" or "The moderators reviewed your report and determined that no action was needed." I know that's not always standard, but it's also nice to see that reports are at least acknowledged. So, if I click "report post" does anyone actually see those? There again, I'd think Spam posted two days ago wouldn't be much of a judgement call for anyone watching reports...
Sandy Vongries
I've seemingly never seen any of these reports acted upon. Speaking strictly for myself - I do not see Reports, nor have I seen a place they are outputted. Please PM me if I am online and there are problematic issues and I will respond to member input. ben_hutcherson
I know that this is getting into back-end functions of the site, but Glenn, if you are reading this, I might make a constructive suggestion that either you give moderators the ability to review reports or remove the ability to submit them in the first place.
