danac Posted May 30, 2018 Share Posted May 30, 2018 My thirty-seven year old AE-1 worked fine until this afternoon. While advancing the film lever the mirror flips up and down but the shutter does not open. This happens even though the shutter release button is not depressed. What's that all about?
