365 Day Thread for 2017

Rick, jump in & lead us off into the electron cloud since you folk's Down Under are already in 2018. . . Here in Hawaii we are dragging our feet, but will jump in. . . the locals are already burning up the atmosphere with their pyro's (not our type of pyro). Aloha, Bill

OK Bill, the sun's almost over the yardarm on the first day of 2018, down here. As I'm going to try and post some images from Classic Manual Lenses this year, here's one I took this morning while testing a newly-acquired 55mm Fujinon f/2.2, a very unusual design of four elements in four groups with the iris between the first and second elements. The camera was a Sony Alpha A7r. So, for January 1st..... And a very happy 2018 to all our members.
