Matt Laur
Important: please keep your image under 1000 pixels on the longest side for in-line viewing, and please keep the FILE SIZE UNDER 300kb. Note that this includes photos hosted off-site (at Flickr, Photobucket, your own site, etc). Are you new to this thread? The general guidelines for these Wednesday threads are right here: http://www.photo.net/nikon-camera-forum/00W7km. This forum's moderators are allowing up to three Nikon Wednesday images per week, so share some work! A bit of a late start for me this morning folks, sorry - but it's still just sunrise on Nikon Wednesday where I am! I must have worn myself out shooting this litter of a favorite breeder's new batch of English Pointer puppies. I'm sure my fellow Nikonistas will share wonderful stuff this week as always, but I have a hard time having more fun than rolling around the floor with seven week old puppies and a fast lens. D850 with a Sigma 35/1.4 and 105/2.8. Share some photos!

heimbrandt
November means poor weather here in Sweden and what better way to make the best of it by arranging a huge enduro race that runs thru the night? Nikon D800+AF-S 70-20/2.8 VRII Nikon D800E, AF-S 16-35/4VR Finally, a picture of what the cameras looked liked (this would have been perfect a few weeks ago when we were encouraged to show our gear). Everything cleaned up perfectly and there are no traces left on any gear. Please, do not try this, I strongly advice against testing your camera's weather-sealing. iPhone 6S

Andrew Garrard
Hi all. For once, I'm following Matt's subject lead, but sadly from the other end of life. Having previously shared many holiday snaps with you all, I'm going to test your tolerance again with the other staple, photos of my pet. Not as professionally posed as Matt's, a little because my subject has never really been one for instructions, and partly my own abilities. This is Soda, my 19 year-old cat. She's in kidney failure, and we'll be putting her to sleep tomorrow, so I wanted to share. Firstly, a photo from a couple of days ago; she's frantic to drink and not really in control of her legs, hence the food on her nose, and she's not really all there any more, but I'm claiming this was a lucid moment and interest in my being there. D810, Tamron 24-70, SB600.
Andrew Garrard
Happier days - sunbathing earlier in the year (and rubbing her ears on the grass). D810, Sigma 50mm Art.
Andrew Garrard
And how I'll remember her (it's either sleeping with he head on her paw, or keeping her nose warm under her tail; I'll go with the former). Miss you, little old lady. She's been sleeping on my bed for 19 years.

John Di Leo
Coming in late on this one...but, Christmas is around the corner and I shoot the the Christmas card for #1 daughter and her brood of 5. The first two are from the 2015 shoot-all 5 grandkids were shot similarly and collaged on a card. The third is from last year. Still thinking about what to do for 2017? The first two were on the "Who's been naughty" theme And the third suggests Santa needs emergency surgery
Wayne Melia
Well, it's still wednesday here on the Pacific coast; I spent an evening at a local venue gathering some tunes and a 'little' light. f1.8-f2 made a pretty big scoop for what light there was, but 135mm and no vr on the sigma dictated ~ 1/160 shutter, so the result was iso in the uncomfortable 10,000 zone and these results from D810 and LR. these guys have played together for a long time sax break while bass and drums accompany the piano monochrome emphasises the light shapes
