It looks worse than it is and does NOT prevent a filter from being mounted. Lens comes with a Nikon yellow Y48 72mm filter, excellent Nikon HK-7 lens hood, and Nikon front and rear caps. Asking $230 for everything, price includes insured priority mail. Sorry, but I can sell/ship ONLY to USA addresses.
