not staying logged in

Why am I not staying logged in? Previously I could go for several days before having to log in. Now if I visit another site (without closing my browser) I have to log back in when I return to Photo.net.

Sometimes I get dumped, but not often and no discernable pattern. Just sigh and log in again. Hootie -- just got the red server error box. Clicked the "X" and re sent.

Thanks, Sandy. This is the only problem I've had with the site in quite a while so I feel lucky compared to what some others have had difficulties with.

Ditto. Very annoying, made more so because when I come here and then log in, I'm not brought back to the same forum.

The log in business is an annoyance. But an annoyance that should have been fixed from the get go. Anyone who designs a web site without a way to log in and stay on the reference page gets no progress payment as a web designer. Add the annoyances up and they become more than just bugs.

I may have found a way around this, at least with Firefox. When I start up my computer I can click on "restore previous session" and it takes me back to where I was still logged in,
