DavidRabinowitz
Maybe someone should have alerted us to these problems...i have over 800 photos on this site...they have all disappeared and even though i’d guess that they’ll return, it would be nice to know that this is a system wide problem that will return to normal sometime soon. fredsphotos
I also seem to have lost everything. However I can see the titles of my galleries but no images!
Jack McRitchie
Has this happened to everyone? We need a quick explanation from management.
Leslie Reid
Yes, it does seem to be a general problem--hidden and private gallery folders don't have photos accessible to their owner. Somewhere in some other thread Glenn assured us that the photos are still in the database, and that it's a known issue that they're working on. So we sit here with our fingers crossed... donbright
Just lost my Portfolio and access to all P.Net Photos and categories, whats up?
Leslie Reid
Same here. I'm hoping it means they've taken the interface with the photo database off-line to fix the bug we've been talking about...
Jack McRitchie
My portfolio, truncated though it may be, is back. I don't know if this was a malfunction or a fix, and if it was a fix, just what it corrected. Glenn, if you're reading this, you really do need to keep us better informed about what is happening. Ha ha. I just clicked on a photo of yours that's in my favourites, or I guess I clicked on a thumbnail of one of your photos, and got got a failure. The thumb was there, but the link failed. <br> This whole thing is fascinating in it's bizarreness -- can't look away -- conjures old slapstick movies. Jack McRitchie
Yeah, most of my photos aren't accessible even to me. All the galleries that I had hidden before the Apocalypse (or should I say The Rapture?) now inform me there are no photos in them. I know there are because if I go to Gallery Photo Sort I can see thumbnails of the photos within and can even move the thumbnails around. What I can't do is access them. This is such a CF (in the internet slang meaning of the abbreviation) that it's starting to seem like a comedy. I can't wait to see what happens next. I'm not even pissed off anymore. It's like time travelling back to the early days of the internet.
