Alex_Es
Happy New Year Canon FD, etc. shooters! I'm posting early early because I do not know what condition I will be in come Midnight, 2017. We've had a great year overall in 2016. Let's do it again in 2017! Let's see your stuff, friends.

New Year's resolutions. I am going to utilize my EFs, F-1 and FTb! Also I will get a good Canon A-1, which I've wanted for decades.

Okay I'll kick things off with two shots with the FDn 80-200/4 L + Leica M240. Shots are from my balcony.
One is full frame and the other is cropped to 16x9.

ashbrown
Looking forward to your continuing stewardship of this thread through 2017, Alex.
Apologies that as a rather stingy film shooter, I am lagging a bit behind the seasons; two Autumn shots follow:

JDMvW
I got my A-1 and a 28mm lens for the cost of two pizzas because it had a bent spindle (as it turned out, link)
I love the A-1, but if you can find a working one, I think that the T-90 is one of the finest, non-AF cameras ever made, period. The catch is the "shutter lockup" EEE fault that affects so many of these that are not used regularly.
Be that as it may be, here is another in my images of water towers and such like (homage to the Bechers), in this case a feed dispenser, taken by the A-1 and the 28mm lens:

chuck909
I can't say this is a great photo, but for Christmas my wife got a BL FD 28mm f2.0. What a great lens to work with especially in a very dark room.

ashbrown
It captures the moment, Charles! (And no matter how hard we sometimes try to be "arty", it is these kind of shots that are really meaningful for the people involved and most appreciated...) I agree that 28mm is a great focal length for party events like this; the angle of view and deep depth of field means its really quick to work with, and makes sure you don't miss important moments like these.
