Hi all, hope you had a very happy New Year! Here we go again, another opportunity to post your favorite pic of the week. Don't be shy and don't lurk around. Post something; lets see what you all are doing. I'll start with a photo from a relatively old downtown Los Angeles parking structure. This was hand held in pretty low light with a Mamiya 7 rangefinder. Let see yours!

Wow, 5 entries. Here's the deal lads. Participation seems to be dwindling. This thread is going to die due to lack of participation. This is probably the longest running photo sharing thread on all of Photo.net. It would be nice for it to continue, but its up to you all. If you think a change of moderator would help, that's fine, let me know. But what's the point if no-one is posting.

I haven't used a RF in ages, and I haven't scanned most of the negatives which were made with RFs (mostly Leica). I'd love to post here so I'll have a look in my archives.

30 minutes later, and I found something to post. Hurrah! This girl meant a lot to me at the time, although we never dated. I don't think I would have been suited to her, though. My heart knew it but my head tried to override this fact. That's a lesson, folks. Your heart can't lie. Pay strict attention. :-)

00eJF1-567269084.jpeg.b8d7df8d67ad097b27b4cc0eb3c22a53.jpeg

Hello everyone. It is hard to set dynamite off under someones chain without damaging the cameras. . .Yak, yak yak is what I see a lot of in this & other forum. Surly, most of these people viewing these forum use their cameras ? ? Shyness? ?
How about "Leica, Rangefinder & viewfinder" as the title? I sneak my Vito II in here now and then! My inclusion is from a long walk-about in the Kakaako area of Honolulu, in which Kewalo Basin is found. Taken looking toward the skyline of Waikiki.
Thanks and I appreciate the input. For those who just think you have to post Friday, please note this is a pic o the week, so you can post all week. I'm not a moderator here on P.net so don't have any vote regarding the name of the L&R forum but for this particularly thread, please put in anything you want and the thread has always been about some elusively designated category of "range finder type" photos, or range finder inspired photos.

Barry: thank you! Harry: thank you as well - and guess what I found at an op-shop today? Not an XA, but an XA-2. $5. Not bad. :-)

FWIW I think the name of the forum is fine - people understand that their cameras can have offset viewfinders but no RF.

Richard, nice tones on that close-up.
