Nikon Wednesday 2016: #34

<p>A good Nikon Wednesday to all - hope everyone's having a good week. A busy one here - wrapped up a project on this bright sunny afternoon, and happened to have a camera body with lens sitting next to me in the car in an open bag as I wound my way homeward through evening rush hour traffic, driving westbound into the sun. Came around a bend and saw a large mobile crane suspending a work platform next to the rather shiny gold statue atop the unmistakable local Mormon temple. Doing a little research, I see that the very large golden statue on that biggest spire weighs 2 tons, and is covered with 24k gold. I imagine a little maintenance is unavoidable. <br /><br />So: confess. You've shot something through the windshield while driving, haven't you. Of course you have. Share some photos!</p><div></div>

<p>Here are three photos of wooden buildings in northern (very northern) California. The first was was taken in Eureka, CA</p><div></div>

<p>This was was also shot in Eureka - this building was removed quite recently, several years ago it was a ruin</p><div></div>

<p>And this one was shot half way between Eureka and Klamath</p><div></div>

<p><img src="/photo/18277387" alt="" />This one was taken in the spice island of Grenada (Caribbean) this past February 2016. There are only two islands further south in the Caribbean chain and that is Trinidad and Tobago. </p><div></div>
