Hi guys,
My friend and I are currently working on a photo sharing site called FastImageShare, it allows users to share photos quickly and easily. It'd be awesome if I can collect some valuable feedback from you guys to improve the site.

Some core features of FIS:
1. Share photos/albums in 3 steps: dragNdrop to upload, copy URL, and share!
2. Download photos quickly in a compressed zip file in 2 steps.
3. Albums and photos can be protected with a password.

Some ideas to use the site:
1. Online proofing for clients
2. Sharing photos without creating an account
3. To let your family and friends download your albums quickly.

This is a sample album I've created: http://fastimageshare.com/album_view.php?id=54f88f7b9377b60525
Site URL: fastimageshare.com

Here are some questions that might help you create feedback:
-Would you use the site? If so, for what?
-What's your favorite feature?
-What's something you don't like about it?
-What feature(s) would you add to improve the site?
-Would you recommend the site to your friends/ family?

Any feedback, suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!

Ian, it's clear you haven't done the research that is necessary to start asking these questions. The reason I say that is that if you had taken an hour or two to study this site, you would realize that it is populated by a demographic that is older than your target demographic and has no understanding of what a "photo sharing site" is for. I suggest you study sites on the internet and find ones that understand the concept of photo sharing.

Second, you need to explain how this is a differentiator that will attract the number of users you need to be successful. Why will people use this instead of Facebook? Right now, there are about 1.4 billion users on Facebook. Would a compressed zip file capability and password protection really convince anyone to leave Facebook? I know a lot of people posting photos on Facebook and I can't think of one that ever said they wanted compressed file download capability (which goes against the grain for most photo sharing, which is done on smartphones) or password protection. In general, when I see people asking for password protection it's for professional photographers and there are plenty of sites like SmugMug that offer that.

So go back and figure out why anyone would care about your feature set and who the people that do care are. Then, but only then, find a site with an average age under 40 and ask your questions. Make sure it's a site where people are interested in sharing photos - you can click on people's names here and see exactly what they are sharing. You will probably find, for example on this thread, that it's not a user base like Facebook.

@Q.G. de Bakker, we do have privacy and copyright policies to protect piracy. We do monitor what gets uploaded, so any inappropriate or stolen photos will be removed.
@Jeff Spirer, FIS is different from Facebook and other sites because:
1. FIS can be used without logging in
2. anyone can download photos that are publicly uploaded
3. FIS is cheaper and faster than many competing sites
There are almost a million ways to use the site, here are some examples:
-download a set of computer background/wallpapers
-craigslist or ebay sellers using it to showcase their products better
-share photos to someone without logging in
We are still adding more features at the moment, more users will be interested in the future.
Thank you for your feedback! Please let me know if you have any other questions/ comments.

I've had only a few minutes to look, but so far it's not clear to me what niche you're aiming for. It seems to be a cross between imgur and smugmug. Is your market freeloaders who plan to use it mostly for freebie file hosting of web sized novelty images, or serious amateurs and pros who may be looking for an alternative site for archiving and presentation/

Can it handle raw files or TIFFs, or only JPEGs, PNGs and GIFs?

How's the security? Is it fusker-proof?

Ian, those aren't big differentiators, certainly not enough to get people to stop using Facebook. Around 1.5B people have logged into Facebook, so I don't think that's a problem. On FB, anyone can download photos in public albums. I don't know if that's a good thing, but it's possible. And Facebook is free and has no current performance issues.

What you need is a real differentiator, which is what Lex is pointing out. Who is going to use this site and why would they use it instead of Facebook or Instagram? It looks like you're solving a problem that isn't there, or at least one that isn't covered by a lot of more established sites that will be very difficult to beat.
