martindomok
Hello,
I have not been posting here for a while. Curious what will come up.
I dumped my old domain and created a new one - the person who registerded the domain did it unders his name, so I was not the owner and he would change the status.
Previoulsy my images were watermarked in 2 corners, bottow right and left. (see image)
Different opacity in every image, long manual process in PS. I tried lightroom, as it could be faster, but was not happy with the result.
With the new web site to speed up the process, I created a white backboard with watermak on the bottom, sliglty larger and then just place image over, save and redo the process again and again, without fiddleing with placing watermark.
Also, in the bottom left corner there will be my new logo.
Possibly, the text on the bottom right can be all black, or with reduced oppacity.
Any thoughts? Thank you.

DrBen
I prefer the old one. The new one draws the eye away from the photo. Also the new one can be done very easily in Lightroom and then, if necessary, can be adjusted for placement, size and colour in just a few seconds.
martindomok
Thnaks for your info.
Yeah, the first one was fine, however, when you have around 200 images it is PITA to fiddle with alll images again.
danmarchant
Not sure why you would be unhappy with the result of Lightroom watermarking your image as it will do exactly the same thing you have in your second image. It allows you to have text or images and to move them around to your preferred location. You can also save multiple watermarks so you can have one with the mark at the bottom and one with it at the top, for use on different images.

As to the watermarks themselves the second one is more intrusive but then that is what a watermark is... it is a partially transparent mark across the image.
