<p>Hi dear friends! Beautiful shots so far...It was a beautiful trip to Crete by boat at night...all shots taken with D700 and 24-70 F/2.8 at iso 5000 and shutter speed from 320-500. Cheers!</p><div></div>

<p>Lex, your description of lax attention to the needs of pedestrians, especially the disabled, fits many communities including my town. I get particularly upset when good intentions are poorly implemented such as finishing the curb cutouts below the street grade so a 4" deep puddle remains after rains (or worse, freezes into black ice during the winter). After last winter, I am amazed that wheelchair-bound pedestrians can get anywhere through the maze of potholes at crosswalks.</p>

<p>This week has been back to the garden after working on interior tasks. The Peonies and Rhododendrons are doing well this spring.</p><div></div>

<p>I've discovered the B&O Railroad museum. Perfect place for a person with four year old twin boys to spend an afternoon giving mom some alone time...</p>

<p>Last one. Good illustration of both the high(ish) ISO performance of the D800 and the really superb VR and wide open capabilities of the 70-200 VRII. It is a fun combination for someone who not that many years ago was shooting a D70 and second rate glass.</p><div></div>
