jpalmer57
Georg, I am very much taken with your shot with an IR filter on the D700. Did you capture RAW or jpg? And anything like the Monochrome setting? I may have to get an R72 filter!
Mine are just ordinary shots around the yard. First a rose on a feral bush that crept its way under the fence from our neighbors.

DawsonPointers
Maybe not a hair-raising back story; but, certainly a hair-shedding one.
Harry pushed the ball into the pond. He doesn't swim. georg_s1
@ Jim Palmer: Jim, thanks! I've shot JPEG (B&W with red-filter-setting and contrast to the max) and NEF. The posted image is a very basic RAW-conversion in Adobe Camera Raw and a minute of work in SilverEfex. If you want further informations please feel free to contact me via PN.

@ Lex: I really enjoyed looking at your shadow-play.

john_harper9
Sorting through all of the Peony images from the garden over the last two weeks, this flower was the best. Near the end of its bloom, the petals have opened up and glowed with backlit sunlight. This is a crop using a 70-200/4 at closest focus distance.
