Best Locations to click Photographs in Turkey

<p>We are planning to visit turkey in couple of months to enjoy our holiday and we need to know that are the places that best to shoot some photographs as I am very interested in photography. I like to take pictures of nature and historical sites. Can any body provide some useful information.</p>

<p>Well, a bit of a too broad question I think - Turkey is quite a big country with a lot of historical and nature sites. There's hundreds of miles of beautiful Mediterranean coast, hundreds of historical sites, huge cities, etc. A standard tourist guide should give you plenty of suggestions of locations to explore. Istanbul is probably on the top of the list - you can easily spend weeks there and not get bored....<br>

Are you going towards any specific area of the country?</p>

 

<p>I agree with Daniel - get a good tourist guide....there's lots around Istanbul and places like the site at Ephesis - via the seaport of Kusadisi is well worth visiting if you are in that area of Turkey.</p>

<p>Top of Galata Tower at sunset. River excursion in Istanbul at sunrise or sunset to capture minarets. Via Caddesi when everyone is getting off work. Find elevated spot to capture crowds surrounding the streetcars. </p>

<p>I am going there with a couple and they warn me against shooting local female...said to be a taboo.</p>
