Uhooru
Hello all. It seems we are going into end of Summer doldrums but it still a great time to post your favorite pic/s for this week. Please post. Hopefully we will get more than 16 photos shared. Of course quality trumps quantity in my book, but both is even better. I'll start with another taken from my set of body painting taken a couple of weeks ago using a Panasonic GX7 camera and the classic Leica Summicron 35. Let's see yours, post the way we vote in American elections, early and often:).
Alex_Es
Shot this with my now broken down and deeply lamented Hexar AF. Might ask MS Optical to preserve its 35/2 lens. Anyway, this was shot in New York back in August 1992 on Fuji Neopan 1600. Shot at ISO 400 with ND filter in bright areas and at ISO 1600 in dark places. Just rediscovered the negatives from which this image is taken a few days ago while housecleaning.

You can also see Holland Tunnel ventilation tower on the New Jersey side. In the original color version of this image, the magenta edge is prominent on the left hand side. Even in this B&W version, you can probably see the darkening of the edge which is not part of the corner vignetting.
Robin Smith
Yuki. Correct! I like your view of Manhattan. No need to explain about the magenta edges: we wouldn't have known if you hadn't told us.
Robin Smith

charlie lemay
Thanks Barry. Did you see the profile of a woman's face in the water in the bottom half? I did not see that until I scanned the negative. Once you see it, you can't not see it. I love it when that happens.
