Recommended WordPress theme for photographers

<p>I'm looking for a WordPress theme that works well for photographers. I prefer a basic theme with a simple menu and lots of room for the pictures. Basically, I'm looking to replace my <a href="http://neurochrome.com/iblog/">old website</a> (HTML written from scratch) with a WordPress-based site. What are your suggestions? Which theme can you recommend (please, post a link to a site using it if possible).<br>

The reason I've chosen WordPress is that I already use it on my <a href="http://www.neurochrome.com/audio/">electronics website</a> and would like to stick with something familiar that works well.<br>

<p>Well, since nobody else has answered, I can tell you that I've used WordPress extensively for a self-hosted site, and, as far as I'm concerned, there is no answer to your question. It depends on so many things, and from my experience, the photography-oriented themes require too much kludgey extra effort, like designating special categories, feature images and what not. Too many things to remember to do for each post, and then if you ever decide to changes themes, you might have to redo them all. The Wordpress team has made significant and extraordinary efforts, but it's not called <em>Word</em>Press for nothing.<br>

That having been said, the Photocrati themes with Nextgen gallery are hard to beat.</p>
