I was sitting on the back deck the other day when this young fellow and a rival were getting ready to rumble over the affections of a nearby lovely lady. The too potential combatants raised quite a ruckus. In the end, this fellow's opponent fled the scene before things got violent.

00ad1Q-483131584.jpg.f442da58d4c54cbc13f63c43569f1251.jpg

Lil, thanks! Yes, I do love the D800E. When I got it, I sold the D300 I formerly used for long lens stuff. Of course, there will always be something better coming down the pike.

My batting average with the manual focus 400mm is very low. I envy you your Sigmonster.

Bit late this week. Recently got to visit a farm museum, and decided to sneak a shot through the window of their little working forge. Really impressed what you can get out of a RAW file without resorting to any from of HDR processing.

00ad9E-483307584.JPG.1ae928653f946631ec3da8e5debbe8c7.JPG
