tom_pohrte
I have just received an F4 with the MB20 grip (non-S). There is a remote shutter release socket on the lower left corner of the camera body. What is the release cable that fits this connection?
Thanks in advance.

User_276104
Any standard, old style thread-in cable release will work. I don't know if they're easily found in camera stores anymore, though.
richard_meyers
Still widely available I think. See here - http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-FWW00601-AR-3-Cable-Release/dp/B00009R8QP/ref=pd_cp_e_2
Very useful for holding the shutter open for long exposures and for releasing the shutter when pressing the shutter button might disturb the camera.
tom_pohrte
The old cable release I have didn't seem to screw in correctly/securely but it does trip the shutter.
Thanks again.
