I got a new covering for my 139Q and thought I'd post a picture or two. I posted some pics of Watkins Mill state park and Covered bridge a while back that I took with the Konica II and I use the Contax as a meter so, if these look familiar, they are of the same subject.
Thanks Jon. These are CVS Pharmacy scans. I had to do a complete system restore on my computer recently so I haven't gotten around to downloading the software for my scanner or for my color calibration spider so, I don't really know how they look on a calibrated monitor but I was quite happy with the waay the prints came out.

Tom, I have long coveted the Contax/Planar combo but haven't been able to pull the trigger on one. I am envious. I hope you put them to rigorous use. Also, that's a lovely covered bridge; we have several of them in the county next to mine, but none so picturesque as that. JR

That's one beautiful outfit, Tom. Nothing much beats a Planar for image quality, in my books, and your images show just how well the lens handles subtle graduations of tone. The first pic, of the bridge, has terrific detail right through the tonal range. Color me just a touch envious...
