I especially like the portrait - lovely soft feel - I keep coming back to it.

I will post two this week, starting with an abstract detail from a large wall covered with graffiti.

Graffiti Detail 5 -- Layers

shots worth sharing
Shooting conditions left a lot to be desired this past week but, thanks to the K-5, I got a couple of semi-decent bird shots with the DA*300mm & 2x-S.

This Palm Warbler is a migrant and I was proud of myself for getting the ID right (thanks to Sibley.) anirbanbanerjee
In India we had this weeklong countrywide protests in support of an anti-corruption bill in the federal parliament. I was at such a meeting in Bangalore. A lot of bottled water was consumed, and bottles thrown around.
The protesters won a small victory when the stupendously corrupt federal government agreed to propose a bill, with non-politicians well-known for integrity and social service making up half the drafting committee.
