genelake
Thank you for the warning, however I still had to do horizontal scrolls with my monitor(Acer19").
Great pictures, I can almost see the hardware store down in Cold Springs to the right in the first picture. The shot of the Observatory Building with the curved siding was neat, I can almost envision the carpenters using a big kettle boiling or steaming those pieces of siding to fit the curve of the building. I guess this is the bottom of where the telescope is housed, if it's still there.
Thanks Gene.
Gene Lake
steven_p
Thanks again, Gene.
I just realized that your countryside is similar to what I have going on here. Nice part of town.

modern_kogaku
Gene, it's one of the most interesting camera modifications I ever seen! Is there any info on it on the forum? I am new here so might have overlooked it. Is it using the original lens? The sharpness seems to be very good from corner to corner. Nice shots, I especially like the "Apple trees".

chauncey_walden
Great shots, Gene! Which lens is on this one? I have a couple (OK, 3 I think) of these 122 cameras and one of them has the older rapid rectilinear lens which was a little slower. I also have a roll of 122 Verichrome Pan to shoot. Then I was planning on respooling 70mm film in the 122 paper.
david_l3
Excellent shots Gene. Didn't have to clean my eye glasses (like I did with your Olympus 35 IVA photos) to see that they are clear and sharp. Nice work.
