Just updated our website with a new hosting company and layout. Please take a look and provide feedback. This is the test sight and all pics/pages are sample pages but with production pics....except for the proofing which is fictitious pics.

All feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Site navigates okay. Music should be OFF by default. You have some nice images, but there are way too many on the site. Nobody will watch a slideshow with 57 pictures. IMO, either hold the camera straight, or don't. Too many tilt-the-camera shots will date your style badly, and those with a slight tilt look like you tried a couple glasses of punch. And DO NOT tilt Philadelphia City Hall. We're proud of that Rococco pile. OTOH, your exposures are good, and you capture nice, genuine expressions.

How did the nerdy guy get such a hot bride?

Les, everyone comments on that poor nerdy guy. Though she did not look like a nerd, she was as well and they were a joy to work with!
I agree that we have too many images and we are going to thin them out by eliminating all the none straight shots(thanks to you) and others as well...leaving the best of the best.

As to the music, my wife and I are in this together and she likes the music....and I'm not that passionate about it to argue with her. I guess if people don't care for it they can click it off, turn down the volume or move to another site. We may lose some biz, but some people (like my wife) love sites with music.

Again, thanks for the feedback!

Manuel:

I assume you have bought a license allowing you to use that song/performance on your site? Just owning the CD doesn't cut it. As photographers we are often - rightfully so - concerned about copyright and we certainly shouldn't violate it if we want others to respect our copyright.

Other than that it looks ok I think. Couldn't find any pricing info though. Judging by what the folks in the Wedding Forum generally say pricing info seems to be a good thing to have on wedding/event sites.
