paul_de_ley
I've also been trying out a better behaved Vivitar-branded close focusing Panagor 135mm f2.8 on a willingly posing granite spiny lizard. This was close to sunset so looks a bit too much as if I used flash. Both this and previous photo taken with T90 on Kodak Gold 200. This month I'll be putting a Kiron 105 macro through its paces, it fell in my lap for a very decent price a few days ago -:)

User_502260
I have two of the Vivitar 135/2.8 Close Focusing lenses in FD mount. I didn't know that same lens was also sold under the Panagor name.
paul_de_ley
Oops my mistake Jerry, I should have written "Vivitar-branded close focusing 135 f2.8 made by Komine", my copy is probably no different from yours in branding. But who knows, maybe some of these were actually released under one or more of Komine's own brands (including Panagor)?
ray_storege
Threads like these are the 'best FD-ambassador' possible, lots of potential from this 'old glass' and their respective owners, not even to mention the high review-value concerning the equipment, absolutely great!

Regards

Instead of converting the FD-mount of the lens or converting an EOS-dslr to the FD-mount (as intended in the first place) I went with a Panasonic G1 + FD-to-G1 adapter and though not as crisp as a Canon dslr it offers pretty decent quality and does focus to infinity without any additional glass element.

Panasonic Lumix G1 + FD 400mm f2.8L
capitalq
Fantastic images, everyone. Inspires me to keep shooting...

Here are some fairly recent shots taken with a trusty FTb and a standard 50mm FD lens using Ilford HP+ 400.

I've certainly learned a ton over the last year since I discovered this group of crazies.
