carmen_h
Hi all,

I'm from Scotland and I'm into architectural photography. I also love underwater photography (only tried once and totally loved it! Will definitely try again!). I used to carry my cameras (film SLR(s), wee toy cameras...) around different cities, and enjoyed being in the darkrooms doing prints, going out and take photos with the old heavy mamiya 645 at the artschool.

Since I got my Canon DSLR last year it's been mainly digital I do (no more darkrooms since I left the artschool, sadly). It's handy, but somehow I miss the moment when you have to wait till you get your own film developed and see how the pictures turn out, rather than you can see them straight away... (maybe it's just me..).

Last week I found one of my many cameras, and wanted to finish the film that has been in the camera for 2 years (since I got my DSLR), and that's how I got into traditional film photography again. After that, I was searching for information on medium format cameras and I came across this site!

It's really good to know there're a lot of people love traditional film photography. I'm hoping to learn more about medium format cameras in the future, and at the same time, working towards my goals to become a professional architectural photographer... Any advice would be great.

Thanks for spending time to read this and apologise for the long intro.
