This is my first posting, just to let y'all know I'm here.I've spent many years as a film jockey, but gave it up over fifteen years ago.In that time , digital happened, and I felt that photography was done. With the major manufacturers giving up on film production,I felt that film photography was definitely done-for. I seem to be, happily, wrong. As long as major manufacturers such as Zeiss produce fine film cameras, there still is hope.I've just added three new lenses to my Nikon film outfit, including 15mm f/3.5 Nikkor,35mm f/1.4,and a brand new Zeiss 85mm f/1.4(in Nikon mount).I am in the process of restoring my D.R.,as well, cleaning and rebuilding, and making new bases for my Omega D-2v and my E-3 5X7 enlarger with Aristo cold light head.Sound proud of my stuff?Love it!But the beauty is that FILM LIVES!And eBay has become my great supplier.I am also an amateur microscopist/photomicrographer, and would love to hear from or about anyone at all doing same. Thanks to My eBay,I,ve gained possession of several nice examples of my dream microscope-the mighty Zeiss Universal.Anyone at all with similar interests, PLEASE RESPOND!I need accessories and GLASS for these Behemoths! Keep shooting! If the demand is there, they will supply!
