james_ratterree
I have a photo shoot at a venue where the availability of power outlets is sketchy at best. I won't get a chance to scout the location in advance from the look of things.
Basically I will have to shoot group photos on two separate occasions and some smaller pairings over a 4-day period.
We have up to four Travelite 750's (older model) that I intend to use for the various setups.

What power pack would be best to run up to four 750's using household three-prong plugs?

Also, if we decide to rent the pack(s), who is a good company to check out in Richardson/Dallas, TX?

I am an Art Director/do-it-all with intermediate skill as a photographer. Read: photographer by necessity. So any advice is greatly appreciated.
Fujifilm X-T30 | Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f2.8-4 (ø58mm) | 7artisans 12mm F2.8 (ø46mm) | 7artisans 55mm F1.4 (ø49mm) Nikon FE | Nikon E 28mm f2.8 (ø52mm) | Nikkor 50mm f1.4 (ø52mm) | Nikkor 105mm f2.5 Telephoto (ø52mm) | Nikon 75-105mm f3.5 (ø52mm) | Nikon 80-200mm f4 (ø62mm) Sony Cybershot WX-350 |
ellis_vener_photography
In the Dallas area, use http://lighttec.com/ for rental.

otherwise I'd recommend the Alien Bees Vagabond II (I'd get at least two wit hextra batteries), orthe similar Dynalite battry /inverter packs.

james_ratterree
My apologies for not getting back to this post sooner. I managed to scout the location and did find a couple well hidden plugs at both locations for the set shots.
Thanks all for the help and this has been a good learning experience overall on what it would take to do pack-powered lighting.
Fujifilm X-T30 | Fujifilm XF 18-55mm f2.8-4 (ø58mm) | 7artisans 12mm F2.8 (ø46mm) | 7artisans 55mm F1.4 (ø49mm) Nikon FE | Nikon E 28mm f2.8 (ø52mm) | Nikkor 50mm f1.4 (ø52mm) | Nikkor 105mm f2.5 Telephoto (ø52mm) | Nikon 75-105mm f3.5 (ø52mm) | Nikon 80-200mm f4 (ø62mm) Sony Cybershot WX-350 |
